stitch and glue:
anybody out there make a s&g and skip the fiberglass tape over the fillets but totally fiberglass the inside? i'm using luaun and feel i need to glass the entire inside for strength. if i make the fillets (partial, remove wires, complete fillets) and then go straight to glassing the inside, will the fillets be strong enough to hold while i do the glassin.? durrently i have the kayak stitched and finished "winding" and it appears to be true (square). it is suspended by clamps and four sticks attached to sawhorses ala clc. any experience (bad, good) would be appreciated. thanks. john tmc.
