: I'm still using a right angle grinder with a 30 grit sanding disk. You do
: need to be careful on how you hold the grinder and move the disk in such a
: way that you are always moving it against the direction it is spinning.

: I've taken to putting double sticky carpet tape on the back of the seat I'm
: making and sticking it to the outside of my house, up about chest high.
: This holds the seat quite securely and is easy to access.

Yes, you're right you must be careful to hold down the minicell if you
work with power tools on it, because the stuff is so resilient you can
launch your own space shot if you're not careful.

I use large spring clamps to hold down the piece I'm carving to a sink cut out
fixed to the top of a feed stand which puts it at about 35" high.

It's always worth the time and effort and SAFETY to set the work piece at a comfortable
height.

All the best,
Rob
