The Coho is a very forgiving hull shape, "hard-chine" or four panel hulls make greater compromises across the handling spectrum for any given improvement in one area. So experienced paddlers will tolerate some twitchiness for the quicker handling,,,but a multi-chine hull can be made to have quick handling AND smooth trasitions in waves, I don't know of any in production, right now.
