In Response To: Material: Laser printed underlay (Doug Bayless)
I tried both inkjet and laser printers to create an image on think tissue paper. I used cheap paper meant to sit on gift boxes taped to 8.5x11.
In my experience, the laser printer crinkled the paper more thne the IJ. I also found that taping the leading AND trailing edge of the tissue improved the image in both cases.
The problem I found w/ the laser was that the traction wheels that pulled the pater out of the feeder tore up the tissue. If you have a small image, maybe you could limit the tissue that is sent through to the part of the 8.5x11 that does not come in contact with the feeding mechanism.
You may have better success if you can
