I am getting ready to buy my epoxy and glass and have been intrigued by the discussion of graphite powder. Is this really the solution to potential scratches on the bottom? If I use it is it used with the original wet-out or on the subsequent coat? Is it worth the extra effort? The cost seems insignificant for the advantages it seems to afford, but I don't hear of many people using it.

BTW, I plan on using MAS unless someone can persuade me differently.
