I just started constructing a pygmy Tern 14 and the instructions said to make a glue out of wood flour and resin. Furthermore, it said that the mixture should be the consistency of honey. I then read the System Three Epoxy book and they indicated that the glue should be non-sagging (Thixotropic?). Maybe I am splitting hairs here, but isn't honey too viscous to be non sagging?
Does anyone have the ratio of wood flour to mixed resin that has worked well as an adhesive?
Also, I am using epoxy pumps supplied with the kit. Can I assume that they are fairly accurate and will dispense the proper amounts of resin and hardener (restrictor installed on hardener pump)?
Thanks
