Here's a shot of the coaming I'm getting ready to install. I will put a lip on it that's about 1/2" square... something to grab onto and something to help support the deck. It's tapered so the groove will be about 7/16" except near the front where it will be wider (sorry it's pretty late). Anyway, it looks like it's going to work okay.
