Launching: she's finally wet! *Pic*

Finally got to launch my S&G, after a year and a half of on and off work. It's really difficult to get stuff done with a baby in the house! Named her the "Sturgeon", in honor of the sacred position of that fish in Ojibway culture (we hail from SE WI), and they're pretty cool fish to boot. It's a Glen-L design, I used Raka epoxy and cloth. She seems to paddle very nice, only had a very short test run today, I hope to wring her out a bit more over the coming weekend. Still have the deck rigging to do, plus a few more coats of varnish. By the way, I've been using some J.E. Moser's Marineshield water based varnish, from Woodworker's Supply, and other than some minor foaming during application, it's worked out real well. However, time will tell as far as longevity goes. If anyone wants more of a look the link is to the photos I took this morning.
