Strip: Is there a preferred design for fishing?

Not looking to re-invent the wheel so I'd like the board's advice on the best design for a stripper for coastal inshore fishing. Also, any experienced advice on deck rigging, hatch placements,cockpit advice for fishing outfitting would be appreciated. I have searched the web and looked at plastic boats....I'm sure this board can do much better than what's available commercially.
