Hey! You guys are starting to make me feel guilty. Instead of getting ready, maybe I will go paddle around the tall ships at Lake Union this evening so that whatever I come up with is truly last minute and frantic.

If it's any consolation, I did manage to get glue all over myself last night wrestling with a new latex gasket on Holly's coat. The gasket won and I lost. After fuming about it for hours, I came to the realization that the problem is not me, it's the gasket. The diameter of the large end is much smaller than the sleave. Of course it's going to pucker itself to pieces as soon as the form is removed.
