In Response To: Strip: Tape residue (KenC)

I had a terrible time when I used packing tape. I sticks very well to epoxy and when it is removed it leaves the glue behind. There is a product know as Prepsol (surface preperation solution) which is used by spray painters to remove grease and oil before painting. You should be able to get it from auto spares suppliers.
