All I can find for baidarka is an alternate spelling:
bidarka
SYLLABICATION: bi·dar·ka
PRONUNCIATION: b-därk
NOUN: A one- or two-hole kayak used by the Aleut and various Alaskan Eskimo groups.
ETYMOLOGY: Russian badarka, diminutive of badara, of Siberian origin.
Interesting that the final a is silent! I always pronounced it.
Live and learn.
