Material: Using Kevlar

I am thinking of using a layer of Kevlar on my next kayak, but have never worked with it.
Questions I have:
Is it compatable with my System Three epoxy?
Is it better to put it next to the wood and a layer of fiberglass over it or glass next to the wood and have the Kevlar on the outside?
Any difficulties with working with it people have experienced?
Will it take a varnish or paint okay?
Does it bend and drape similar to fiberglass cloth?
How do I insure a good bond?

thanks, Randy
