I didn't respond to the earlier thread because my new paddle jacket was on order. I have to say, now that I've used it several times -- the neoprene collar on the Immersion Research "Session" top DOESN'T leak! I replaced my shorty top from a manufacturerer in the Northwest when the lining started flaking and falling out within a year. The IR shorty that I got is their version of Goretex with neoprene on the collar, sleeves, and waist. It is NOT a drytop, but it IS dry. I love it. I'll be getting their long sleeved drytop which uses the same neoprene neck gasket as soon as my wife isn't watching the checkbook!
