Ok, nothing compared to OH people, but still disapointing.

I talked with the DMV lady yesterday(who actually is pretty nice) and she wasn't sure how to register a boat without a HIN/serial #. She said she would have to call the DNR today. She did, got some reply about titling and giving me a HIN. I pointed out that kayaks DO NOT need to be titled. (I neglected to mention that when I first asked about registering)

Anyhow in order to do it she wants me to be there with her on the phone with the DNR (who close at 16:30 when I normally get off work). My schedule is somewhat flexible so I have no GREAT problem with this. **BUT** the DNR computers are down for some reason, and will probably not be up today. DMV lady is not there tomorrow. There goes launching it (legally*) this weekend. Oh, and of course they are closed Monday due to Columbus day.

WX doesn't look that good for this weekend anyway...

*with my luck the one time in 10,000 they will decide to check to see if my boat is registered
