Hi folks..

Just thought I'd let you all know that I'm taking a little break from the hum-drum building of kayaks and a friend of mine and I are trying out a new Jet-Ski. It's the latest design and something I've always wanted to give a whirl.

This thing's got tons of horsepower and unbelievable take off.
Unfortunately, I've seen it in action once and it leaves a tremendous wake in it's trail.

I do know that it's much safer than the normal ski's as it's much safer for plant and aquatic life. None of the usual oil residue and fuel. This thing Burns completely, every ounce that burns through it's veins. Trust me!!

Since I'll be doing it here in the next few weeks, and the weather is a bit cool here now, I doubt I'll be interfering with any kayakers or canoers.

I guarantee they'll hardly see me around at all.
Hmmmmmmmm!! The noise level may be a bit high, but with so few folks on the lakes now, It may not be a problem at all.

I hear this thing is not to be taken lightly and can get a bit rough for the in-experienced, so I'm going to take it a bit easier at first. No AB on the first couple of runs.

Oh, and I understand it's got it's own heating system so the skier won't have to worry about getting cold..... for hours.

I know some of you are somewhat less than enthusiastic about jet-skiing/ers, but I just have to try this once.... Getting too old to do most things, but it's something I just HAVE to try. And why not be one of the first on my block, or in the world for that matter.
