Tools: ROS Pad

I remember reading comments about ROS attachments that allow better sanding on curved surfaces. Some kind of pad that you attach to the place you normally put the sandpaper and then you attach the sandpaper to it. I've looked in a few hardware stores but not had any success finding anything.
Does anyone know what these things are called and where you can get them? I have a Makita ROS that takes 5 inch 8 hole hook and loop sandpaper.
