Gary's Ulua is based on info contained in Tommy Holmes' "The Hawaiian Canoe".
There are various line drawings in there, and the Breadfruit canoe is probably the closest in size. The Bishop Museum carries this book, and ships so fast it will make your head spin. About $38 plus shipping. Check their other books as well.

Might as well get Canoes of Oceania, a classic, but around 400 pages. Lots of sketches, but no line drawings. I guess thats not the traditional way to build one of these. Tough read, but invaluable, as I have post it notes scattered throughout this book.
