Just a comment about the vellum...I tried 20lb vellum (from work) and the material is very apparent under the epoxy...it didn't become transparent. So watch out for the weight and type of vellum and test it 1st.

I also have some mylar, which is somewhat "frosted" or cloudy (not transparent). I didn't try this, as I didn't think it would become transparent. Also wasn't sure the epoxy would adhere to this material, either
