Thanks for the replies,
Both of your advice is sound, some of the scratches I just couldn't live with so I sanded through them with 80 grit figuring a little light spot would be better than the big ol scratch. It seems to have worked with only a slight lightening of the wood after re-sealing. I never thought about the finer surface causing the color change vs. uneven saturation but it makes total sense It sure is a slippery slope though, I found a million more little blemishes that I know I have to let go. If it weren't for all of the amazing stuff I've seen on this board my standards would be alot lower. Hopefully the deck glass will be in place by the end of the day. I'll try to post a picture of my progress/design soon. Thanks again!
