This may seem like a strange idea, but i was wondering if it was possible to build a strip kayak to use for rivers. Being from the piedmont of SC i was wanting to build some for the rivers in the mountains nearby. First i was wanting to know if a wooden kayak would work? and second does any one have any suggestions for plans for a wooden kayak specific to rivers?
