Arghhh..... I got a little (a lot) overenthusiastic about sanding my hull this past weekend and once all the dust had cleared I realized that I had sanded away too much material. In my own defence, I had to fair out some low spots in the hull (they didn't seem very deep) and the dust filled the voids (not to mention they were only visible looking across from the opposite side).
Most of the voids are too small to fill with putty. My current plan is to seal the hull with a coat of epoxy followed by a fill coat for the voids (which I will allow to tack up) before applying the glass. If anyone has a more aesthetic technique to share it would be greatly appreciated.
