I'm very sorry your Grand Dad has passed on, it would be great to spend the days with him in the garage working on projects, doesn't matter what, just that he's around. All the things that could have been but for time too swift passage. It would have been neat to hear what his thoughts would have been. After all, us wood types need to stick together.

I have some zebrawood in the spare bedroom (actually the closet is filled with wood), that's not a bad idea...I like it...
