Good Day,

3M Velcro sticks like, uh well... like glue. They make a velcro that is specifically designed for marine applications. I used it on my hypalon RIB to attach a protective cover a year ago. The cover stays on the pontoons to protect from sun and abrasion, even during use. Now I got a new cover that uses hooks to attach, but the doggone 3M stuff was stuck so good I just left it there rather than trying to get it off. This boat stays in a saltwater slip all year, and is used every weekend be it 2-4 foot seas or 12 foot seas. Look for the stuff in your local boating store. If you changed your mind it would come of with a little nail polish remover, but it won't be as hard as if you epoxy something down.
