Yes, check carefully what the glueline will be after trimming, and leave some fudge factor. I used Autocad when I first came up with the idea. I should rerun some drawings with the 3/8" and 1/2" core strips, thanks for pointing that out! CAD is nice htat way, you can draw it ful scale as youd lay it up, and then fillet the radius as you would trim it on the router. Its very accurate.
