I do kinda know how you feel. There was a period (fortunately brief) when I was wondering if I had built the wrong boat. I sorta grew into it skillwise and I really hoping that you'll do the same. In retrospect, I think the wrong boat for me would have been one that I felt comfortable in at the start -- I absolutely love the new boat now, though I do occassionally paddle the old large (and excessively stable) fiberglass boat.
