I just finished an Arctic Tern 14. I love the boat, but my size 11 feet are a bit if a squeeze. My sons (10 & 13) would like to share the boat while I make a new one.
OK - question - will the extra inch in depth in the Coho, or Tern 17 be enough for my feet or do I need to go to the Tern High to get 2 1/2 inches more?
On the Tern vs. the Coho, I love the Tern 14 but would like to try the Coho to have a faster boat and a multi-chine to go with the Tern. It is kind of nice to have variety.
I have to enter the Kayak from a fixed dock in tidal waters. The Tern is stable enough to make that fun but possible. Will the Coho make this wet and impossible?
Maybe even the Osprey?
