400 acre, sounds like 3/4 of a section. Check you local goverment (county, city etc) I know that much of the counties around here have airial photos of their areas, check the planning or assessors office.

My city has arial photos overlayed with survayers marks to show property lines. Some of this is online, others are free for the asking. Island Co. Assessors office will do printouts for you for $.25 for an 8.5X11 and $2.25 for a 2X3 plot (just as a comparison)

I've used GPSU 4.04 (freeware) to download waypoints from my garmin GPS, overlay onto a airial photo, and was able to save that off.
