Here's an idea:

GRO (Great River Outfitters) is the US distributor for VCP and NDK kayaks...they arrive at GRO in a container....check with them if some container space is available going the other way...and on the return trip if there will be a spot in with the new boats.

But for traveling, unless you're moving somewhere, wouldn't it be easier to find a boat "there", or buy/build a performance folding kayak? Or sectional/volkskayak?
