: I managed to slip in between torrential downpours today to get my Great Auk
: in the waters of the Willamette River today. She is stable, responsive and
: tracks well. I can't wait to get the seat in and really put it through its
: paces. One benefit of the rain was that I got to check the seals on my
: hatches. 10 miles of driving in the rain and 30 minutes of paddling and
: both compartments stayed bone dry. A real testament to Ross Leidy's hatch
: rigging design.

Congrats Marcel,

Thats a good looking boat. I know your going to enjoy her.

Happy Paddling . . . and don't worry about the rain (as long as there's no lightning) - yaks love getting wet.

Charles.

P.S. Nice job on the building pages!!
