I think that if somebody just brought it across, the border folk probably wouldn't bother to charge anything, the hassle is not worth the coin involved. Shipping it is another matter.

I managed to get in touch with a wonderful fellow from out in BC that has a piece that he can spare for a reasonable price in Canadian$.

So thankfully I don't have to intrude on my American Kayak BBS buddies to smuggle any neoprene across the border. However there is a nice magnum blackpowder rifle that I have my eye on...just kidding. Thanks for your interest, have a great day!
