I became a little impatient during the strip building process and there are some cosmetic defects on this kayak that hopefully I wont repeat on the next one. However, I do like the way it handles so far. I Had it out for a first paddle in some quiet water and found it to be more responsive than the 18 1/2 ft Sea Spirit. It's 17 ft. long, 21 inches wide, and weighs in at 42lbs.
