Many people showed some interest lately in a sea spirit design for bigger and taller paddler. If you are 6' tall or more, or weight over 200 lbs, please give us your input.

I'm presently workin on a new sea spirit design for big guys with the help of Bobby Curtis, the designer of the original boat. I would like the boat to keep the same characteristics of the original but simply with more displacement. Before starting the project it would be very nice to know exactly what you guys would like in such a boat.

-What size you are
-your weight
-shoe size
-legs lenght
-how much cargo you want to be able to put in the boat in lbs.
-Depth of the hull you found confortable in a boat (front and back of the coaming.
-Minimum & maximum freeboard you would accept in a boat.

This is just to get an idea of what kind of boat would suit most of us big guys. I hope we can work something out so that we can also enjoy Bobby design. If all goes well the project should be finish this summer and if the boat gets Bobby aprobation, new offsets should be available directly from Bobby.

Thanks for your contribution.
