The image below is my modification of Nick's design for a bulkhead-footrest. I modified it to mount a Guzzler 400 series pump. The design was modeled in Solid Edge Ver. 14. The hull section is from the Guillemot design and it is between stations 5 and 6. This weekend I will make a mockup using 1/4" foam board so I can check to make sure I have remembered to take everything into consideration. The last post - with one of these in it - received some posts questioning the entrapment issues. To fix this i have extended the footrest all the way out to the hull. As a result of the extension the plumbing is going to be quite the conundrum. I will model the hosing up so I can check for clearance issues and to see if it will adjust with the footrest. The other modification I will have to add to the pump is about a 1.1/2” extension on the plunger – which I’m sure will VOID the warranty.
