I'm building a One Ocean Kayak's Storm; it's my first build. I hit a blocking point several weeks back when I finished stripping the hull.

Because I didn't know any better, I did a bad job on the milling (strip cutting and bead and cove routing). So, what's happened now is that the more I sand, the more glue lines and gaps appear between the strips.

I'm not sure what to do to get past the psychological hump. I'm not expecting perfection on a first boat, but I've looked at several filling options, including homemade filler from sawdust, cutting strips to fill the gaps, etc, and all of them seem to be too labor-intensive. I'm almost inclined to just do a sealer coat (which I wasn't inclined to do) and glass it, then mill new strips for the deck.

Any ideas or thoughts?
