I have not used Raka resin, so I cannot make a comparison there. Clear Coat is very thin compared to anything I have used before. My experience with 3.25 oz. satin is that most bubble problems go away if you do one glass layer at a time. Adhesion is not a problem as long as you follow up with the second coat in a reasonable period of time. On samples that I tried, doing two layers at once yielded inferiour results, so I'm not real fond of that approach. I have a good reference that says West epoxy fills nicely on top of Clear Coat. I have tried a sample of MAS on top and that worked fine as well. I will be putting MAS fill on top of Clear Coat tonight, so I will know more in awhile. But I don't know about Raka. I suggest you do a sample and see how it comes out. It kind of defeats the purpose to use a thin resin for fill, but I understand that's what you have on hand. It will work (assuming no incompatibility), but it will likely take more coats to do the job.
