Strip: Canoe plans for the next project

Ok... it's time to start thinking about the next project for next winter... a canoe. I built the Cape Ann for solo paddling, but the family is now making a bit of noise about being able to go out for a nice paddle now and again. I know my wife won't want a kayak of her own, at least not yet and my daughter is only 5.

I've wanted a canoe for awhile and so this seems like the likely next project. I've looked over Ted Moores book, CanoeCraft and another one by Gil Gilpatrick. Of the two, Moores' book looks much better. I'm thinking of a boat around 17 feet or so. There are plans in Moore's book, but I want to make sure that I've looked at pretty much everything that's available as far as plans are concerned before committing to a particular boat.

What other plans, resources are out there that you guys can recommend?
