Tools: Porter Cable 333VS ROS

I am in the market for an ROS and remember a post that indicated the 333 model would only accept Porter Cable sand paper attachements. Is that true, and if so, have you found it problematic? I am also looking at the Dewalt 423k which I believe can accept different brands of sand paper attachments. Thanks
