On knee braces...

Interesting braces. Hmm and hmm. And hmm. Ok, what's the advantage of having hooks go down that low?

I ask because, in my Cormorant, I'm just cram packed into my 'yak and I'm wondering if maybe having big hooks like that would allow for a bit more stretch room for my legs. As it is (well, after I repair the seat back which I broke yesterday), I think that my legs are sufficiently braced - if a bit discomforted after a few hours out on the water! My legs are braced in the corners between the deck panels. Hmm. It could just be me - but looking at your web site I don't see knee hooks on your Cormorant. What are you planning on doing in that area? Same kind of knee hooks?

cheers!
charles
