S&G: System 3 WR LPU Application

I am to the point in my construction of a Pygmy Osprey Std. of painting on the UV coat. I really like the S3 WR LPU but have read bad things about the application without a sprayer. I would like to know how anyone has applied the LPU successfully with brush or roller, and what type of brush or roller. I live in the Seattle area where it is currently around 65-70 most days. Thanks for any help.
