I moved a canoe on frame with the outside glassed. It handled the move just fine (in a semi sized moving van (Company move)).

The problems came later. The boat went directly into a storage unit. Move from wet and humid NW to dry arid hot SW shrank the wood and just about destroyed the boat. I'm still in the recovery process with the boat.

So keep that in mind. If the climates aren't similar, get to work on the boat immediatly.
