S&G: Scaling Down CLC LT17 Plans

I would like to take my LT17 plans, change the lofting stations to 11.25" and make a 15' 10" boat (by my calcs.). Doing that with the side panels looks fairly simple but the bottom panels have extensions on each end that are done from full size drawings. How do I scale these down? Do I go ahead and use the full size and then do some creative planing on the ends when I'm stitching the panels together to make it "look right"? Any advice appreciated. I've built three boats from kits but now I'd like to try one with plans so I'm currently in uncharted territory, but hey, that's the fun part. I have "The New Kayak Shop" and considered using the plans in that book for the CLC 16 but can't figure out how to "full size" the bow & stern extensions in those plans.
