S&G: Progress - Arctic Tern 14 and 17 *LINK*

Greetings,

a while ago I posted a comment indicating that my wife and I were planning to build our own Actic Tern boats ( a 14 for her, a 17 for me). We started to work on them in April (slowly), but now we're working full steam ahead.

Of course, she's ahead of me :-) but I can always argue that I was taking the pictures and that delayed me a lot (oh yeah, and my boat is longer, and I didn't have enough space in the assembling table, and I was helping her too, and I had too much work to do, the stars where not correctly aligned, and ..., maybe I was lazier ? )!

Anyway, we hope to join the deck and hull of the Tern 14 next week, and hopefully launch it in less than 3 weeks (I estimate that my boat will take around 2 more weeks at least).

You can see the progrss so far in the enclosed link, we're building them on our basement, but we'll be moving her boat our to the garage today (since we're not sure it will get out with both the hull and deck joined together).

Of course, thanks to Nick and everybody for making such a nice BBS, hope to continue in touch in the future (with launch pictures and all that). I'm also thinking about doing a strip and a Greenland kayak afterwards (have already Nick's and Cunningham's books)
