Quick question for those of you who have used tee-nuts under the deck to secure deck lines:

How do you install them without the prongs mashing flat? I've tried pulling them into place using a machine screw/screwdriver without much luck. Also tried pressing them in with a "c" clamp with abt the same results. I didn't think it would be a good idea to drag out the hammer, so thought I'd ask "THE BOARD".

I'm using 10/24 ss tee-nuts and have 2 - 4oz layers of glass under the deck(1/4" white pine).

Any and all advice would be much appreciated! TIA.

Charles.
