I bought one yard of carbon fiber from U.S. Composites. don't remember the exact cost but I think it was about $28 for a yard of 5oz. twill weave. Looks great in my coaming and very stiff. Ordered on the web. Their URL is http://www.shopmaninc.com/.

I bought a yard of 5.9oz. at Plasticare in Denver last week.
