THANKS! I'll try to get more pictures on the water; I had my hands full that day. R2K3 is August 8 and that's a big photo op. I paddled it alone for a few minutes before I let anyone else in and I could turn it fairly well by leaning. There are no seats yet so I knelt in the center of the boat. I leaned it over on the wide part of the hull and it turned okay. I will have to experiment more with that.

It rode a little different with kids in it. I kept it to two kids for safety reasons. I sat all the way at the back. The passengers didn't care for the leaning so it was pretty hard to turn. I was able to get going fast though; it is 20' 8". It was calm/flat water. I'm sure it would get pretty wet in other conditions but that's part of the fun of this boat. I used a take-apart euro paddle. The kids wanted to paddle at one point so I split the paddle and propelled it like a regular canoe - with a J stroke. It was kind of fun. I will have to make some extra little paddles for the crew.

The car's a '97 Volvo 850 T5. It looks/drives well but breaks easily.
