Strip: Need some creative varnishing ideas

I'm ready to start varnishing my Night Heron, and would like to hear some creative solutions to my problem. Short of skewering the boat so that it can be rotated like its on a spit, does anyone have any ideas about ways to apply a full coat of varnish to the entire boat in one application instead of having to wait for the top half to dry before turning the boat over to do the bottom half? If there were a nautical equivalent to Car Talk, this strikes me as a good puzzler!
