I agree with you about the three dominate areas. With the input and response I've been getting it looks like the The Texas Kayak Builder's Bash (which is still unamed and open for suggestions and input) will be in late april, early may, of next year (2004) in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The following year it will be held in the Houston area. Of course we won't forget the central Texas/Austin area. If this gets off the ground, or into the water, I envision a gathering at different strategic locations in Texas every year. IN ADDITION...this year...on october 26 there will be an informal mini bash somewhere in the central Texas/Austin area. I have been asking for ideas on locations to hold this mini bash. Soon as we have a good location I'll start posting dates, times, and any particulars needed.
