Material: Anyone used Zebrano ?

I'm looking at woods to use on my next deck and my local hardwood
supplier has Zebrano in both veneer form (useful for either a S+G
deck or to apply to a strip deck) and as planks (which I could use
to strip). Its a fantastic colour, and not as heavy as the purpleheart
I used on the deck of the last boat. Its supposed to take glue well,
but be very resistant to preservatives, which suggests it will stick
to epoxy, but not really absorb it into the surface. Anyone have any
experience of it in kayak building ? Does it change colour much and is
it difficult to work with ?
