Strip: cedar staining design

Ive finnally got all my cedar milled and was thinking about a design. i dont want to go crazy with it, ive seen some beutifull boats in the last two months,
and want to wait for my second project before getting elaborate with inlay patterns..

i was wondering if it is ok to bleach or stain strips or the deck/hull before the epoxy gets applied. is there a danger of delamination or moisture probles to stain a desing on the boat before epoxy.

what about wood burning a design.

any pics?

on the same note, does anybody have a picture of a completly random naturally stripped boat with no pattern at all?
